G45 Gen6

The GLOCK 45 Gen6 blends full-size handling with compact performance. The Gen6 design includes enhanced ergonomics, a refined grip texture, and an optic-ready design, it delivers control, adaptability, and reliability for duty and everyday use. The G45 design features a compact length slide combined with a a full-size frame with 17 round magazine capacity.

The ergonomic frame with palm swell, thumb rest, and Gen6 grip texture combines to create an intuitive design that locks in your grip. Gen6 pistols come optic-ready with a system engineered for adaptability and durability, and they come standard with a flat-faced trigger for consistent finger placement.

The Safe Action® System is a fully automatic safety system consisting of three passive, independently operating, mechanical safeties. All three safeties disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when the trigger is released.

Safe Action® System

Three safeties are released in sequence when the trigger is pulled and are automatically reengaged when the trigger is released.

nDLC Finish

The GLOCK nDLC finish increases protection from corrosion and abrasion, especially in adverse weather conditions.

GLOCK Marksman Barrel

The rifling of the GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) is slightly different from the proven polygonal profile, resulting in improved precision.

Slide Serrations

Slide serrations on the Gen6 are angled deeper into the slide to make the surface engagement more tactile for slide manipulations.

Ambidextrous Slide Stop Lever

The ambidextrous slide stop lever improves handling of the slide for both right- and left-handed users. The border surrounding the slide stop lever has been enlarged to prevent unintentional activation.

Mounting Rail

The mounting rail is located in front of the trigger guard on the frame, which enables the attachment of tactical lights and laser modules.

Flat Faced Trigger

Each Gen6 pistol comes standard with a flat faced trigger for consistent finger placement and trigger pull. The undercut trigger guard allows for higher grip support and comfort. The reduced distance from the frame to the trigger makes it easier to reach the trigger for a variety of users.

RTF6 Grip Texture

The Gen6 grip texture (RTF6) combines two textures into one to create the perfect blend of performance and comfort. The area of grip texture has been expanded to reach higher on the frame and onto the thumb rest for maximum grip purchase.

Palm Swell

The palm swell contours the pistol to the natural curvature of the hand.

Enlarged Beavertail

The enlarged beavertail encourages a higher grip while ensuring the slide can cycle freely. To adjust the grip circumference to individual needs, two different backstraps can be mounted.

Reversible Magazine Catch

The reversible magazine catch can be fitted to the shooter’s needs and installed on the left or right side of the frame.
